Regulations of the MDDP Alumni Program
I. General Provisions:
- These regulations (hereinafter: the regulations) define the objectives and principles of the MDDP Alumni Program as well as the conditions for the provision of electronic services by the organizer of the MDDP Alumni Program (hereinafter: the organizer) to the participants of the program.
- The organizer of the MDDP Alumni Program is MDDP Michalik Dłuska Dziedzic i Partnerzy Spółka doradztwa podatkowego spółka akcyjna, with its registered office in Warsaw (00-082), address: ul. Senatorska 18a, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register maintained by the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under number: 0000755371, NIP: 5213287732, REGON: 015699764.
- The principles of privacy protection for MDDP Alumni, including the processing of their personal data, are defined in the privacy policy available at: https://www.mddp.pl/polityka-prywatnosci-i-cookies/.
II. Definitions: The terms used in the regulations shall mean:
- MDDP Alumnus – a natural person who meets the conditions specified in the regulations and has become a participant of the MDDP Alumni Program through the registration process and successful verification.
- MDDP – MDDP Michalik Dłuska Dziedzic i Partnerzy Spółka doradztwa podatkowego spółka akcyjna, with its registered office in Warsaw, address: ul. Senatorska 18a, 00-892 Warsaw.
- MDDP Alumni Program Coordinator – a person designated by MDDP to contact MDDP Alumni (contact via email: alumni@mddp.pl).
- MDDP Newsletter – a service provided electronically within the meaning of the Act of July 18, 2002, on the provision of electronic services, consisting of sending MDDP Alumni commercial information to the email address provided by them, including but not limited to information about the program, events organized by MDDP, products, solutions, services offered by MDDP, and blogs or alerts.
- MDDP Employee – an employee of MDDP within the meaning of the Act of June 26, 1974 – the Labor Code.
- MDDP Associate – a person cooperating with MDDP under a civil law contract or a sole proprietor providing services to MDDP.
- MDDP Alumni Program – a program dedicated to MDDP Alumni, which enables, in particular:
- establishing new contacts and maintaining relationships with current and former MDDP employees;
- participating in MDDP Alumni meetings;
- receiving discounts on participation in events and training organized by MDDP;
- returning to MDDP under the Boomerang Program, as described below;
- using special offers for Alumni;
- receiving the newsletter for further professional and personal development under the terms specified in these regulations.
- Regulations – the regulations of the MDDP Alumni Program as of February 1, 2025.
- GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
- MDDP Alumni Program Website – the website available at: https://www.mddp.pl/alumni-mddp/ , where the application form for program participation is available.
III. Program Objectives and Implementation:
- The objective of the program is to create conditions that enable MDDP Alumni to maintain relationships with current and former MDDP employees, establish and develop business contacts, and participate in events organized by MDDP for further personal and professional development and maintaining contact with MDDP.
- As part of the program, MDDP enables its Alumni to:
- build a network of contacts with other Alumni, regardless of their current place of employment;
- participate in events organized by MDDP;
- re-establish cooperation with MDDP under the Boomerang Program, under the terms set out in point VII of the regulations;
- receive the newsletter.
- MDDP reserves the right to define separate terms and conditions for Alumni’s use of other products and services offered by MDDP, which they learned about through the newsletter.
- MDDP Alumni declare that the content and information they provide in connection with participation in the program shall not:
- violate the law or these regulations;
- be contrary to social norms or good practices;
- infringe the rights of other entities and individuals.
IV. Membership in the Program:
- A person can become an MDDP Alumnus if they meet at least one of the following criteria:
- they were an MDDP employee for at least six months, and their employment relationship was not terminated under Article 52 or 53 of the Labor Code, nor were there grounds for termination on these bases; or
- they were an MDDP associate for at least six months, and the cooperation was not terminated for reasons attributable to the associate, and there are no other obstacles that would cause their participation in the program to harm MDDP’s reputation, image, business confidentiality, or the rights of third parties.
- The six-month period also includes employment under a contract of mandate. In justified cases, the organizer has the right to grant Alumnus status to a person employed for less than six months.
- The organizer may immediately exclude an MDDP Alumnus from the program for important reasons, such as:
- continued participation in the program could harm MDDP’s reputation, image, business confidentiality, or the rights of third parties;
- the Alumnus’ behavior violates point III.4 of the regulations;
- the Alumnus uses the program in a manner contrary to its purpose.
- If grounds for exclusion arise, the organizer shall inform the Alumnus of their exclusion electronically via the email address provided during registration.
- An MDDP Alumnus may withdraw from the program at any time by sending a resignation statement via email to alumni@mddp.pl. Resignation is effective immediately and results in the loss of Alumnus status.
V. Enrollment in the Program:
- An individual interested in obtaining the status of an MDDP Alumnus and participating in the program is required to complete the application form available at: https://www.mddp.pl/alumni-mddp/.
- To submit the application form to the organizer, the candidate for MDDP Alumnus must declare acceptance of the regulations and privacy policy and consent to receiving the newsletter.
- Upon receipt of the application form, the organizer will verify whether the candidate meets the conditions specified in Section IV of the regulations. A positive verification of the application form is equivalent to granting the candidate the status of an MDDP Alumnus.
- The candidate will be informed of the verification result via email to the address provided in the application form.
- The candidate must provide accurate information to enable a reliable verification process.
- Providing false information entitles the organizer to disqualify the candidate. If the candidate has already been positively verified, they may be excluded from the program.
VI. Access to Events and Training
- MDDP Alumni have the opportunity to participate in events and training sessions organized by MDDP under preferential terms. Information about current and upcoming events and training sessions is available in the “Events and Training” section on the website: https://www.mddp.pl/wydarzenia-i-szkolenia/.
- MDDP Alumni may be eligible for a discount on selected events or training sessions organized by MDDP. To benefit from the discount, the application form for the chosen event or training must be completed on the website: https://www.mddp.pl/wydarzenia-i-szkolenia/ and must include “MDDP Alumnus” in the “Remarks” / “Additional Information” field. The discount will be granted upon positive verification of the application.
VII. Boomerang Program
- The Boomerang Program is designed for MDDP Alumni who wish to re-establish cooperation with MDDP and obtain the status of an MDDP employee or associate. To receive further information about the Boomerang Program, an updated CV should be sent to: alumni@mddp.pl.
- If a team matching the Alumnus’s competencies and expectations is open to hiring a new person, the Alumnus will be invited to participate in a simplified recruitment process.
VIII. Services Provided Electronically
- Upon acceptance of the regulations and privacy policy and consent to receiving the newsletter, as well as successful verification, an agreement for the provision of electronic services (hereinafter: the agreement) is concluded between the organizer and the MDDP Alumnus. Under this agreement, the organizer will ensure the Alumnus’s participation in the program and provide the newsletter service. The provision of services will commence upon the conclusion of the agreement.
- The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period.
- The MDDP Alumnus may terminate the agreement at any time with immediate effect by sending an email to the program coordinator.
IX. Processing of Personal Data
- The organizer is the administrator of the personal data (hereinafter: the Administrator) of the MDDP Alumnus.
- The personal data of the MDDP Alumnus will be processed based on:
- Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – for the execution of the agreement concluded with the MDDP Alumnus, ensuring participation in the program and newsletter distribution;
- Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – for direct marketing of the Administrator’s products and services;
- Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – for the Administrator’s legitimate interests, such as conducting statistical analyses, pursuing or defending against claims.
- The recipients of the Alumnus’s personal data may include entities providing IT and marketing services for the Administrator, as well as other companies rendering services to the Administrator.
- The MDDP Alumnus has the right to access, rectify, delete, or restrict the processing of their data.
- The MDDP Alumnus has the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
- If the processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, the MDDP Alumnus has the right to data portability.
- If the processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR for direct marketing purposes, the MDDP Alumnus has the right to object to data processing.
- The personal data of the MDDP Alumnus will not be transferred to third countries or international organizations.
- Full information on data processing is available in the privacy policy.
X. Complaints
- Complaints regarding participation in the program should be submitted in writing to the organizer’s address specified in Section I, subsection 2 of the regulations or electronically via email to: alumni@mddp.pl.
- The complaint should include:
- Contact details of the complainant necessary for responding;
- A description of the irregularities forming the basis of the complaint.
- Complaints should be submitted immediately after the issue arises.
- Complaints will be processed without undue delay. The organizer will notify the complainant of the decision via email to the address provided in the complaint submission or by registered mail to the address specified in the complaint.
XI. Final Provisions
- The regulations are available at: https://www.mddp.pl/alumni-mddp/ in a format that allows retrieval, reproduction, and storage of the content using the Alumnus’s telecommunication system.
- The organizer reserves the right to terminate the program and discontinue the newsletter service at any time, particularly for significant technical or organizational reasons, with immediate effect. The organizer will inform the MDDP Alumni about the program’s termination and newsletter discontinuation by posting an official statement on the website: https://www.mddp.pl/.
- The organizer reserves the right to amend the regulations at any time. Changes will take effect on the date specified in the amendment notice, but not earlier than 14 days from the date of publication on the Alumni Program website. The revised regulations will be binding on the MDDP Alumnus unless they submit a resignation from the program within 14 days of the amendment’s publication.
- The MDDP Alumnus is required to stay informed about changes to the regulations.
- If any provision of the regulations is deemed unlawful, it will not affect the validity and effectiveness of the remaining provisions.
- The regulations come into effect on February 1, 2025.
